Ethical Investment

Over the last 20 years, investors have become increasingly aware of the need to invest their money responsibly. The emphasis is shifting from purely seeing the value of their assets increase, to also considering the impact the companies have on climate change, our depleting natural resources and social inequalities.

Issues such as animal testing, the use of nuclear energy, alcohol, the arms trade etc may be red flags for you in terms of where you want your money invested. Some fund managers simply filter out undesirable elements, whilst others actively seek companies working in more socially responsible areas.

This may sound fairly straightforward, but it is of upmost importance that you fully consider your views on each contentious area of investment before deciding where to place your money. We therefore would guide you through the same 5 step process as conventional investments, but always consider your ethical priorities in our planning strategy.
